Summary

Instant Message Connector is designed to be private by default. Phone numbers you enter are processed entirely in your browser to build a click-to-chat link. We do not store, log, or transmit those numbers to our servers or to any third party.

1. What We Collect

Phone Numbers

When you enter a country code and recipient number into the form on Instant Message Connector, that information stays in your browser. Our JavaScript constructs a WhatsApp or Telegram link from your input and opens it. The number is not sent to our servers.

Server Logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs that may include your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the page you viewed, your browser type, and the page that referred you. These logs are used only for security monitoring and to diagnose technical issues. They are retained for a limited time and are not linked to phone numbers.

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which pages are popular, what country visitors come from, what browsers they use, and how long they stay. We use this only to improve the site. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing, and we have not connected it to any Google Ads account.

Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and processes data such as your IP address (which Google anonymises before storage), device type, browser, referring URL, and the pages you visit. We have configured GA4 with IP anonymisation enabled and we do not use the Google Signals advertising features. For full details, see Google's privacy policy and Google's cookies notice.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using your browser's privacy controls to block third-party cookies or scripts from googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com.

We do not set any other tracking cookies. We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or behavioural advertising pixels.

2. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We do not require an account or personal information to use the tool.
  • We do not send marketing email — we have no way to contact you.
  • We do not use Google Analytics data for advertising, retargeting, or building cross-site profiles.
  • We do not store your phone-number inputs — they are processed entirely in your browser.

3. Third Parties

When you click "Connect to WhatsApp" or "Connect to Telegram", the link opens in WhatsApp or Telegram respectively. From that point onward you are interacting with WhatsApp (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.) or Telegram (operated by Telegram FZ-LLC), and their respective privacy policies apply. We have no relationship with or control over those services.

4. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. WhatsApp and Telegram both have their own minimum age requirements which users must independently observe.

5. Data Security

All connections to our site are served over HTTPS. Because we do not store your phone numbers, there is no database for an attacker to breach for that information. Server log data is protected by standard hosting security practices.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data about you, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold information about you and wish to make a request under data protection laws such as GDPR or Singapore's PDPA, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change how this site handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
